This film from Mira Nair (director of the award-winning Salaam Bombay, 1988 and The Namesake, 2006) serves up a rich visual feast! Come and experience a contemporary slice of Indian life, through five intersecting stories of a Punjabi family, preparing for a wedding in New Delhi. With drama, laughter, tears and a good measure of romance, a recipe for any good celebration! (Winner of Golden Lion Award, Venice Film Festival 2001; Cert 15; 109 min.)
